Jarvis was born in Tianjin, China and ventured to Vancouver in 2015. What drew him to FirstLight was his passion for engaging in impactful work and sustainability, as well as his dedication to energy optimization.

Jarvis brings technical expertise in engineering, energy, and sustainability to the team. He became a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in 2026 and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) in 2024.

When he's out of the office, he loves snowboarding and skiing.
