Mahmoud grew up in Sudan and came to Canada in 2017. He is a 2022 Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of British Columbia. He focused his study on HVAC systems and renewable energy. He is a green building enthusiast hoping to make HVAC systems for building more sustainable and energy efficient.

Mahmoud looks forward to expanding his knowledge and experience further with his work at First Light Energy Solutions as a Mechanical Designer. He is very keen and passionate about his work to help decarbonize and improve the efficiency of existing buildings. When he is not working, Mahmoud enjoys working out at the gym, playing tennis, listening to music, and spending time with Vader (his cat).
