Our planning services can take a deep dive or light tough depending on our client’s needs. We provide planning services at both the Portfolio and building level and take a data-driven approach utilizing all available information on the existing buildings down to BAS level data points.

We recognize that building systems are becoming more complex. Our design philosophy is to achieve the design intent in the simplest way possible without sacrificing performance. We believe that the ongoing success of a decarbonization project is directly tied to the simplicity of system operation.

 

We have many years of experience designing and implementing energy retrofits. We often act as the prime and lead mechanical consultant.

We commission our designs. This is critical to our understanding of how HVAC systems perform in the real world and why our strategies can be counted on. In addition, being involved in the commissioning process provides a feedback loop to inform continuous improvement.

We stick with projects post-construction to ensure they perform. We also work with trade partners as a team to address any performance challenges during commissioning and system shakedown. Once operational, we support the building operations staff with training and continue to provide ongoing support as needed.
