Moises was born and raised in Mexico and graduated from UdeG with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. He relocated to Canada in 2007 and worked hands-on as a senior technician giving him a practical approach that has carried into his consulting career. He then pursued his passion for sustainability and received his Master of Engineering in Clean Energy at UBC.
Throughout his engineering career, he has specialized in energy & decarbonization studies, feasibility assessments, and designing and managing the implementation of large energy retrofit projects at residential, commercial, and critical environments such as data centers, health care facilities and laboratories.
Moises has extensive experience reviewing and optimizing heat recovery and building automation systems. He has developed M&V plans for new and existing buildings and has been involved in designing health care facilities pursuing Net Zero Energy/Carbon in Western Canada.
Outside of his engineering duties, Moises allegedly makes the best quesadillas in Canada, keeps his twin boys (aka hooligans) alive and enjoys playing squash, hiking, surfing, and drinking lager beers.
