Killarney Community Centre
Feasibility Study & Decarbonization Plan

Client: City of Vancouver

This study aimed to develop a feasible decarbonization strategy for Killarney Community Centre that included the repair and replacement of the existing arena heat recovery chiller. The assessment considered existing planned retrofits, leveraged life-cycle replacements of equipment, and included specific GHG reduction measures to holistically achieve a significant GHG reduction.

Pacific Centre Low Carbon Transition Plan and Zero Carbon Building Certification Phase 1 & 2

Client: Cadillac Fairview Corporation Ltd.

The purpose of this study was to develop low carbon transition plans with the goal of providing climate resilience and eliminating GHG emissions through full electrification of the facilities.

Client: City of Vancouver

The purpose of this project was to design a replacement pool boiler in short timeline. The project was completed on time and on budget.

Decarbonization Feasibility Studies

Client: City of Vancouver

The purpose of this study was to review the existing building performance and infrastructure to develop a decarbonization strategy for each facility. These feasibility studies identified viable replacement options for the existing end-of-life gas-fired mechanical equipment.

Richmond Ice Centre & Watermania GHG Reduction Analysis - Mechanical System Renewal & Decarbonization Plan

Client: City of Richmond

This study aimed to develop a feasible decarbonization strategy for two energy and carbon-intense city-managed buildings. The assessment considered existing planned retrofits, leveraged future life-cycle replacements of equipment and included specific GHG reduction measures to holistically achieve a significant GHG reduction in line with Richmond CEEP 2050 targets.
