Sarah grew up in Richmond, BC and graduated from UVic in 2022 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermo-fluids and Aerodynamics and a minor in Physics. She is passionate about fighting climate change and the increasing importance of decarbonization and energy efficiency in the built environment.

Her areas of experience include energy studies, decarbonization pathways, and controls optimization projects. One of the Sarah's favourite parts of working at FirstLight is when projects conceptualized in energy studies are brought to life in design and implementation, and actual carbon and energy savings are realized.

Outside of work, Sarah can be found working on craft projects, doing improv, trying out new recipes, and watching reality TV. She loves dogs, so if you meet her, she would love to see a photo of your pet. She also allegedly makes a better quesadilla than Moises.
