Granville Square
First Light Energy partnered with Cadillac Fairview to design and implement a heat recovery system at Granville Square, a 28-level office tower in downtown Vancouver. The project focused on reducing the building's reliance on steam heating, capturing waste heat, and improving thermal comfort within a constrained budget and limited mechanical room space.

Pacific Centre Complex
First Light Energy partnered with Cadillac Fairview to generate a comprehensive, long-term strategy to decarbonize and optimize the energy systems of eight office buildings and the retail mall in Vancouver’s Pacific Centre Complex. The plan focuses on reducing GHG emissions, improving energy efficiency, and supporting Cadillac Fairview’s commitment to sustainability through Zero Carbon Building Certification.

Killarney Community Centre
First Light Energy partnered with the City of Vancouver to conduct a Heat Recovery & Gas Conservation Study for Killarney Community Centre, a multi-use civic facility in Vancouver. The study identified a prioritized bundle of measures to reduce natural gas consumption and GHG emissions, supporting the City's Climate Emergency Action Plan and a federal GICB grant application.

Vancouver Cancer Centre
First Light Energy collaborated with the PHSA to implement a heat recovery retrofit project. The initiative aims to drastically reduce the facility's steam consumption and GHG emissions while ensuring uninterrupted operation. This project exemplifies the healthcare sector's shift towards sustainable energy practices, aligning with broader environmental goals.
